Our programs are customized to expand your skills,

Here’s how the program works: In a sense, you’ll be going
to school—on the job. Our 30-month training program
begins on your first day at the branch, where you’ll
work under the direction and guidance of the branch
management team, which will serve as your coach,
advocate and partner.

You’ll find that professional training and development
will continue well beyond your initial 30 months at Smith
Barney. With our advanced professional-development
courses in business-practice management and wealth
management, we’ll help you focus on meeting ongoing
business goals. Over time, as you reach specific career
milestones and successfully complete the required
training and examinations, you can earn advanced
professional designations such as Certified Financial
Planner™ (CFP®), Financial Planning Specialist and
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Because the combined skills and talents of a team can
